Tilray and Labatt Breweries’ Canadian joint venture company has launched its first CBD-infused brand.
Fluent Beverages, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tilray’s High Park Company and Labatt Breweries’ AB InBev, announced on Dec. 11 that it has launched a new non-alcoholic CBD-infused beverage brand called Everie as part of its portfolio of cannabis products. The company said a select series of ready-to-brew teas will be available in select Canadian provinces in December, while its sparkling beverages line is set to hit shelves early 2020.
“We know that consumers are concerned about products that claim to be CBD-only, but which actually have significant THC content as well; specifically, with products coming from the unregulated market. To build trust with consumers, we need to ensure that we are delivering what is promised, and that is what Fluent is going to do,” said Becky Lindsey, Chief Marketing Officer of Fluent Beverages, in a statement. “Everie is made with CBD so pure that adult consumers can choose Everie with complete confidence – and no surprises.”
Everie drinks are said to be infused using a purified form of CBD extracted in Tilray’s High Park facility in London, Ont. Each will contain 10 mg of CBD per serving and less than 0.05mg of THC per serving.
Everie teas will be available in three-gram biodegradable tea bags, featuring three flavourful blends: Lavender Chamomile, Vanilla Rooibos, and Peach Ginger Green. Everie sparkling beverages will be available in a variety of fruit flavours, including Lemon-Lime, Mango-Passionfruit and Watermelon-Dragon Fruit.
