HYTN cannabis beverage brand subsidiary receives license amendment
June 14, 2022 By Haley Nagasaki
Head quartered in Vancouver, B.C., with a production facility in Kelowna, HYTN Innovations Inc. has been granted a license amendment from Health Canada for cannabis cultivation.
The company’s wholly owned subsidiary, HYTN Cannabis Inc., will now hold more control over cultivars, cultivation practices, and processing used in production.
“Securing a cultivation license allows us to build our tissue culture program in our Kelowna facility. We see this as core to entrenching HYTN as a leader of cannabis innovation and ensuring superior and elevated cannabis experiences every time a consumer chooses the HYTN brand.” —Elliot McKerr, HYTN Chief Executive Officer
