Neptune introduces affordable wellness brand

Extractions company, Neptune Wellness Solutions Inc., announced that it will be launching a new wellness brand that will target eco- and budget-conscious cannabis consumers.

Mood Ring Cannabis is touted as a high-quality, affordable and environmentally-friendly CBD product line that aligns with Neptune Wellness’ focus on natural, plant-based formulations. The company also uses a proprietary cold ethanol extraction process and solventless extraction for THC concentrates which tend to require significantly less energy use when compared to CO2 extraction.

“Mood Ring is directly aligned with our strategy to move closer to the consumer and drive our growth with unique, high-quality and affordable health and wellness branded products,” said CEO Michael Cammarata in a statement. “We intend to price our products to be competitive with the illicit market, which will provide legal options for legacy consumers that meet their needs and expectations, while attracting new consumers in a friendly and approachable way.”
