Neptune Wellness to ship a million hand sanitizers a week

Neptune Wellness Solutions Inc. said its poised to ship one million of its new line of hand sanitizers by next week. (Credit: Neptune Wellness Soluntions Inc. via Facebook) Neptune Wellness Solutions Inc. has accelerated the production of its new line of hand sanitizers.
The Laval, Que.-based extraction company said its subsidiary, Biodroga, is set to ship about one million of its plant-based hand sanitizers every week as a response to the demand during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company will be shipping products starting next week.
“I could not be more proud of how our entire team has mobilized… to bring significant and continuous supply of hand sanitizer gel to market ahead of schedule,” said Michael Cammarata, Chief Executive Officer of Neptune Wellness Solutions. “We are rapidly responding to the needs of North Americans and playing a key role in meeting customer demand for safe and effective hand sanitizer to help prevent the spread of germs and protect consumer health.”
Neptune’s hand sanitizer gel is available in 2 oz, 4 oz, 6oz, 8 oz, 16 oz, 1 litre and 1 gallon formats.
The company announced earlier this week that it has partnered with Nobel-Prize-winning anthropologist Dr. Jane Goodall to launch a line of hemp-based products through another subsidiary, Forest Remedies.
