Argentia Gold Corp. celebrated its grand opening on April 20.

Located on a former WWII U.S. naval base in Argentia, N.L., the local cannabis producer pledges to put local consumers first, committing that online orders will be delivered to customers within a matter of days. The company’s range of cannabis products first launched on the CannabisNL website earlier this month.

“As a local producer, our commitment is to the loyal consumers of this province,” said CEO Steve McNeill. “As we expand into packaged goods, we will introduce exciting new edibles, beverages, and topicals to the Newfoundland and Labrador market before the rest of Canada.”

(Update: This story has been updated to correct an error in the headline, mistakenly referring to Argentina Gold Corp. as Newfoundland and Labrador’s first LP. In fact, BeeHigh Vital Elements Inc. is the first cannabis producer to be licensed by Health Canada. We regret this error.)

Argentia Gold Corp is actually not NLs first LP. BeeHighVE was licensed in Nov 2018 and Argentia in May 2019 – not a hard fact to verify. Also BeeHighVE has been shipping product in NL for the past 11 months, Argnetia Gold just started shipping product.

This is FAKE NEWS. Very shameful that the grow opportunity can’t get the facts straight!

BeeHigh Vital Elements Inc. is actually the first Licensed Cannabis company in NL. BeeHighVE received it’s cultivation license first and was also first to become fully licensed. You could refer to Health Canada’s website to get that very general information.

    Please revise/retract this false statement.
