VANCOUVER - Integrated Cannabis Company, Inc., will be distributing cannabidiol (CBD) formulated gummies.

The Vancouver-based company announced that it has teamed up with its contract manufacturer, Phoenix, Ariz.-based Titration Technologies to begin distributing the CBD-based gummies.

Each gummy will contain 10mg of CBD – the non-psychoactive component of cannabis – and will be 100 per cent vegan, utilizing all-natural ingredients.

"Gummies are an excellent way to introduce CBD to an older demographic that is typically wary of cannabis products,” John Knapp, chief executive officer of Integrated Cannabis stated in a release. “Our gummies will provide an approachable delivery method, that is easy to consume and with a great taste.”

Integrated Cannabis said the demand for gummies is significant and it believes there is an unmet demand for a plant-based product, which continues to grow for the quality conscious consumer.

The company said the creation of this product has taken months of innovation and realized many iterations in order to render the resulting taste and texture of the final product.

Knapp said the company expects most of the sales to be online, but there are also plans to distribute to stores in Colorado and throughout the U.S.

Knapp added that a line of THC-formulated gummies is also on the horizon, pending licensure approval.
