Supreme Cannabis launches new affordable brand Hiway

The Supreme Cannabis Company Inc. is looking to open up its product offerings with a new “affordable” alternative.
Hiway was officially launched on Aug. 10 as a “hi-quality, hi-value” brand that provides frequent cannabis consumers low-cost, no-fuss products without sacrificing quality. Supreme Cannabis president and CEO, Beena Goldenberg said the new brand launch is a response to growing Ontario sales for dried flower products under $6 per gram.
“While we continue to see a strong market for our premium 7ACRES products, we are also seeing a tremendous consumer response to more affordable cannabis offerings,” said Goldenberg. “Hiway benefits from our strong reputation and leading practices for growing and processing high-quality cannabis products. With the launch of this value-oriented brand, we are leveraging our competencies, capacity and efficiencies to build market share and create an exceptional experience for more cannabis consumers.”
Hiway launched with its first product, Hiway Hash, a solventless concentrate, blonde hash that is divided into two-gram pieces. The product will initially enter markets in Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario with more provinces in the works.
Supreme Cannabis says it plans to expand Hiway’s product portfolio to include large format flower, additional concentrate products, extracts and vapes.
