WeedMD to change its name to Entourage Health Corp.

WeedMD Inc. is in the process of a corporate rebrand, starting with its name.
The company has announced that its shareholders have approved all motions to change its corporate name to Entourage Health Corp. as part of a rebrand taking place over the next few months.
Its Health Canada licence will continue to operate under its wholly-owned subsidiary WeedMD RX Inc.
“This is truly an exciting and transformative time for our company,” said George Scorsis, interim CEO and executive chair. “We are now looking to develop and expand into new markets and our cannabis experts that make up Entourage Health will expedite and bolster our growth for years to come.”
The company recently sold its Bowmanville, Ont. facility as part of a “facility optimization strategy.”
Scorsis said in a press release that the company is looking ahead with its partnership with craft cannabis producer, CannTX Life Sciences Inc., to bolster its genetics bank.
