Alberta Cannabis recalls mislabelled AgMedica beverages
June 9, 2020 By Grow Opportunity staff

The Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) commission issued a voluntary product recall on June 8 for two AgMedica Bioscience Inc. beverage products.
According to AlbertaCannabis.ca, specified lots of Vertical Pomegranate Blueberry beverage and Vertical Lemon Lime beverage may contain lower THC content than what is indicated on the label.
The recall does not pose a health hazard to consumers. AGLC advises consumers to return their product to the retailer for a refund.
Retailers are asked to remove products from the specified lots from shelves and clearly mark them as “Do Not Sell – Recalled Product.” AGLC has temporarily stopped accepting returns of product from retailers and have asked that recalled products be stored in a safe area until the agency is able to issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) or provide further instructions.
Inquiries are accepted through the Alberta Cannabis Call Centre at albertacannabis@aglc.ca.
