GrowUP moves to Nov. 30 following Ontario vaccine mandates

September 9, 2021  By Grow Opportunity staff

The Grow Up Conference and Expo is postponed.

In order to accommodate the province’s new safety requirements and vaccine mandates taking effect Sept. 22, Grow Up’s in-person event at the Scotiabank Conference Centre in Niagara Falls, Ont. will be moved back to Nov. 30 to Dec. 2. It was originally anticipated for Oct. 5-7.

The organizers are requiring all attendees, exhibitors, panelists and suppliers to present proof of double vaccination to enter the conference venue.

“While we regret any inconveniences the postponement/change of entry requirements may have, we believe wholeheartedly that this will provide a safer, more enjoyable experience for everyone at the show,” said on the event website. “Given the new vaccine requirements that take effect Sept 22nd across the province of Ontario, we hope this helps to further simplify and protect everyone in attendance.”

Grow Up recently announced that it has partnered with SHYIELD Disinfectants to ensure all surfaces within the expo will be disinfected daily and all panels/sessions. Masks will also be mandatory and social distancing will be in place while indoors. Masks will be available to anyone that needs one, provided by Grow Haus.
