Motif Labs and LYF Food forms supply partnership

Motif Labs and LYF Food Technologies are looking to join forces to take on the cannabis edibles market.
The supply agreement, which was announced Aug. 27, combines Motif Lab’s cannabis extract formulations with LYF Food’s novel line of cannabis edibles.
“Working alongside LYF Food’s production team, including an experienced chef, has been an amazing experience for all of us at Motif,” said chief operating officer, Mario Naric. “We truly want all of our partners to think of our lab as an extension of their own facility… We are fortunate to be playing a small but important role in getting their products into the market.”
Motif Labs is a cannabis extraction and processing facility located in Aylmer, Ont. Founded by a team of scientists and engineers, the company specializes in toll processing and contract manufacturing services for Licensed Producers and third-party brands.
LYF Food is based in Kelowna, B.C. It produces chocolate, confectionary, baked and health food cannabis edibles. It produces white label and private label services, as well as a portfolio of in-house brands.
