ZYUS Life Sciences enters 3-year supply deal with Pure Sunfarms

ZYUS Life Sciences Inc. announced a three-year supply agreement with one of largest greenhouse-grown cannabis producers in the country, Pure Sunfarms Corp.
ZYUS chief exectuive Brent Zettl said in a statement that the company is looking to purchase high-quality dried cannabis raw material for the development and production of a range of cannabinoid-based formulations for the medical market including gel-caps, oils and topicals.
“Quality is at the centre of everything we do at ZYUS,” he said. “When selecting partners to supply us with raw material for our formulations, we looked for companies that shared our commitment to quality, meeting GMP requirements, and maintaining the highest level of integrity across the organization.”
Pure Sunfarms chief executive Mandesh Dosanjh said this partnership marks a milestone for the B.C.-based producer.
“By partnering with ZYUS, we will be supporting at the forefront of medical research and innovation in cannabis, and we look forward to being part of the transformational impact that cannabinoids can have on the lives of patients,” said Dosanjh.
ZYUS is currently in the middle of a pre-clinical trial with University of Saskatchewan to investigate the impact of cannabis on mental health conditions.
