“Alberta is an important market for us as we continue to expand our distribution channels across Canada,” said Brian Athaide, CEO of TGOD, in a statement. “With our production facilities in Hamilton, Ontario and Valleyfield, Quebec, coming online in phases, we are thrilled to start distributing TGOD’s premium certified organic cannabis to AGLC.”

TGOD is Canada’s largest licensed producer of 100 per-cent certified organic cannabis flower and oils; all of its plants are grown in living soil without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. The result is a cleaner, premium product for the medical and recreational markets, the company said.

The agreement with AGLC was negotiated in collaboration with Velvet Management Inc. Velvet Management provides a fully integrated national sales and distribution platform for TGOD’s premium organic cannabis to provincial liquor and cannabis boards.

TGOD is a publicly traded, premium global organic cannabis company, with operations focused on the medical cannabis markets in Canada, Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America, as well as the Canadian adult-use market. TGOD also has organic hemp CBD oil operations in Canada, and, through its wholly owned subsidiary HemPoland, distributes premium hemp CBD oil in the European Union. TGOD has a planned total production capacity of 219,000 kilograms, and is building 1.6 million square feet of cultivation and processing facilities across Ontario, Quebec, Jamaica and Denmark.
