BevCanna to double its beverage manufacturing facility
February 18, 2020 By Grow Opportunity staff
BevCanna Enterprises Inc. is looking to expand its manufacturing premises in anticipation of a full-scale commercialization later in the year.
As the company awaits approval for its standard processing licence, the company announced on Feb. 18 that it is moving forward with the second amendment agreement of its lease. The new agreement, which was created on Feb. 14, will permit the company to add an additional 5,143 square feet to its already 5,235-square-foot facility in Okanagan Valley, B.C. A total of 10,378 square feet will be dedicated to cannabis production.
“This expansion is an exciting step for BevCanna,” said Chief Strategy Officer John Campbell. “We’ve seen a fantastic consumer and industry response to the upcoming Canadian beverage market, and this development ensures that we have capacity and full product offerings to fulfil the anticipated demand.”
BevCanna develops and manufactures cannabinoid-infused beverages and consumer products.
